Sep. 9--PANAMA CITY -- Coming home is a wonderful thing, but coming home from a war zone is even better. On a sunny Saturday afternoon at the Army Reserve Center on East 15th Street, eight area soldiers finally were home after spending 14 months away -- 11 of which were in Iraq and Kuwait. The eight members of the 508th Transportation Division served in Iraq and Kuwait, handling everything from traffic control of convoys to making sure Sherpa C-23 air flights were loaded correctly and safe to fly.
