BEDFORD, Mass., April 24 /PRNewswire/ -- Opta Food Ingredients, Inc. (Nasdaq: OPTS) today reported revenues of $1.1 million for the first quarter ended March 31, 1995, compared with revenue of $1.0 million for the same period last year. The net loss for the first quarter of 1995 was $1.1 million, or $.15 per share, a 22 percent improvement over the net loss of $1.4 million, or $.30 per share, for the first quarter of 1994.
