UXBRIDGE - After nearly 20 years of operation, The Mane Place, owned and operated by Linda L. Chita, was one of the businesses displaced by the Bernat Mill fire on July 21.
Lynn Paresky of Bay State Trail Riders Association said Ms. Chita always supported numerous community-based organizations and clubs in the area, as well as guiding and advising the many patrons who frequented her store and became friends.
The Mane Place became a valuable asset to the area and to the many friends in the equine community over the years, Ms. Paresky said.
