Sep. 11--The Brownsville Herald, Texas, Obituaries
Thomas G. Lawrence, 83, passed away on Saturday, Sept. 8, 2007 at Valley Baptist Medical Center- Brownsville. Tom was born on Feb. 7, 1924 to Josie and Thomas Law-rence in Houston, Texas.
He is survived by his wife Lucy, of 46 years of marriage; and his five children, Bernardo (Patricia), Gigi, Eduardo, Lucy and Laura; grandchildren, Berny and Ashley. As well as Maria Cristina Garcia, her son, Raul Garcia (Monica) and their three children, Raul, Alfonso, and Eduardo.
Tom was a U.S. Navy medic with Fleet Marine Forces during WWII in the South Pacific. Since his arri-val in the Valley more than 40 ...
