Sep. 11--PITTSBORO -- Tedious lectures and humdrum courses?
At Central Carolina Community College the class schedule for continuing ed students this semester could include learning about how to plan your own wedding, the ins and outs of massage therapy, adventures in aromatherapy and how to take care of "fiber animals."
To teach a course at CCCC, a potential instructor first needs to petition to teach the course and then must receive approval from the college to do so.
That's what Ashe McBridge Hinnant, who teaches adventures in aromatherapy, did.
