Parents with small children are advised to be vigilant when buying car seats for their children following a recall of about 50 baby car seats in Joburg.
The seats were found at Evermore in Newtown as well as Plenty Trading in China Mart. They were confiscated by South African Bureau of Standards officials and will soon be destroyed.
Car seats for children are mounted to the seat of a motor vehicle to restrain and protect them in an event of an accident.
