CHICAGO -- More than three quarters of manufacturers believe that corporate responsibility initiatives can enhance profitability and that corporate responsibility will have a major impact on business strategies over the next few years, according to a survey by Grant Thornton LLP, the U.S. member firm of Grant Thornton International, one of the six global accounting organizations. The data is derived from 159 manufacturing industry respondents in a survey of more than 500 business executives.
