Sep. 12--This year marked the smallest rise in health insurance premiums since 1999. But the slowdown won't last and the cost of coverage is speeding ahead of workers' paychecks, researchers said Tuesday.
Premiums for employer-based insurance rose 6.1 percent on a national average this year, the fourth year of slowing increases, according to the latest survey by the Kaiser Family Foundation and Health Research and Educational Trust.
The good news pretty much ends there.
