Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan, Sept. 12 (ANTARA): Some 121 hot spots were detected in South Kalimantan, despite 'a wet dry season' being experienced by the province this year.The latest report of the South Kalimantan Disaster Mitigation Unit issued on September 11 showed that of the total 121 hot spots, the locations of 97 hot spots were in plantation and agricultural areas and only 24 hot spots were located inside the forest area, Fachrudin, secretary of the disaster mitigation unit, said here on Wednesday.Some 38 hot spots were detected in South Hulu Sungai District, 15 hot spots were in Banjar District, 11 in Tanah Laut District and 11 in Balangan ...
