ELMWOOD PARK, N.J. - JBC Company of America showed retailers a vast array of new products ranging from mass storage CD players to its newest product category, combination TV/VCRs.
Dave Bent, merchandising manager for color TV. said since the number of TV/VCRs sold has doubled in the past four years, the company had more than enough reason to jump into the arena.
In June JVC win officially enter the market when its 20-inch TV-C2026, which starts shipping at a $545.95 suggested price, said Bent. The company believes TV/VCRs will continue to grow rapidly, and while it is entering the field with only one model, it is considering adding larger sizes, he said.
