Sep. 12--Fall may be the most rewarding time for beer, not just because of the annual release of the German or German-influenced Oktoberfest brews. Craft breweries tend to introduce their new offerings in the fall, a time when at least a few beer enthusiasts make a shift from the lighter brews of summer to the slightly heavier, darker brews of fall.
