LUNENBURG - Selectmen last night debated the salary range for the hiring of a new chief administrative and financial officer.
"We need to decide today in order to hand off to the screening committee a salary range," said Thomas A. Alonzo, chairman of the board, adding that the screening committee will begin preliminary interviews next week.
Mr. Alonzo met with Chief of Staff and Acting Administrator Laura B. Williams and Town Accountant Karen Brochu to see where in the current budget adjustments could be made to increase the salary range of the new hire.
