Sep. 13--YORKTOWN -- The Yorktown Police Department is looking for a third full-time officer. On Monday, the city council authorized Police Chief Paul Campos to advertise for the position.
The council also eliminated the code enforcement officer position.
Missy Lubyinesky had been the code enforcement officer since the position was established in December 2006. Campos said Lubyinesky, who is also a reserve officer, is welcome to apply for the full-time officer's position.
