IMPORTANCE OF BEING EARNEST: Earnest Sewn has a busy month ahead. On Wednesday, the denim label will celebrate its new Repetto shop-in-shop with a party hosted by Jessica Stam, Julia Restoin-Roitfeld and Waris Ahluwalia. The Virgins will play at the Meatpacking District boutique. Then on Friday, Earnest Sewn's second location, a clothing store-greenhouse-movie theater on the Lower East Side, will open on Orchard Street. The festivities, however, will be saved for a later date. Clear your calendar for Sept. 20.
