SUNNYVALE, Calif.,--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 26, 1995--Mercury Interactive Corporation (NASDAQ:MERQ), the market share leader in Automated Software Quality (ASQ), today announced that it has agreed to acquire Blue Lagoon Software, of Tarzana, California, a developer of client/server debugging technology.

All of the outstanding shares of the privately-held company are to be purchased by Mercury Interactive for 66,000 shares of Mercury Interactive's common stock. As part of the transaction, Mercury Interactive will assume Blue Lagoon's liabilities. The total value of the transaction is estimated at approximately $2 to $3 million.
