High School Boys' Golf: Central claims Hub City crown.

Sep. 14--Consistency paid off for the Aberdeen Central boys' golf team on Thursday as it won the Hub City Invitational played at Lee Park Golf Course.

The Golden Eagles' team score of 323 was 13 shots better than runner-up Roncalli. Pierre, Watertown and Milbank rounded out the five-team field.

Josh Weismantel of Watertown captured individual medalist honors, firing a round of 76. Andrew Farrand and Austin Hieb of Central were among three golfers with scores of 79, joined by Nick Sipe of Milbank.

Central coach Brad Andera was pleased with the results on Thursday as the teams battled cool and windy conditions but were still able to shoot respectable scores.
