Sep. 14--Chris Puntureri of Harlingen is a people person.
And that's a good thing when it comes to his job, which is director of sales for the Best Western Palm Aire hotel in Weslaco.
"I enjoy talking to people, and just being able to make people happy," he said. "That's why I'm in the hospitality business."
As director of sales, Puntureri is in charge of selling the hotel's many services as well as interacting with their long client list.
He has been in sales for almost five years, and he started his sales career at the Holiday Inn Sunspree Resort on South Padre Island.
