Sep. 13--BRIDGEWATER -- After less than a year in business, owner Scott Little has pulled the plug on his Meleo's Restaurant in Bridgewater. "It just wasn't working out," he said. "The weekends were great, but it wasn't busy enough during the week."

After opening last summer in the Stone Point Landing complex on Market Street, the riverfront restaurant closed for good in early August, Little said.

The Brighton Township resident said his 18-month lease through Town Center Associates in Beaver was set to expire Oct. 1. But the costs of running the restaurant just didn't justify staying open, so he decided to close a few months early.
