Sep. 14--It might not be the first vehicle that comes to mind when you think of Honda.
But the CR-V, which Honda builds at its East Liberty assembly plant, has regained the top spot this year for sales of U.S. crossover vehicles, which combine features of sport-utility vehicles and sedans.
Automakers typically revamp models every four or five years, and when that work began for the 2007 CR-V, Honda set out to increase sales by making it more appealing to women.
