Sep. 15--BERKELEY -- Cal's near-season-shattering collapse last weekend at Colorado State was a bad development -- for Louisiana Tech.
The Bulldogs, prohibitive underdogs in their game today at Memorial Stadium, probably won't see a team that is uninspired or looking past them. The Bears realize they came up with an escape of Houdinian proportions in their 34-28 victory over the Rams, and they are committed to be ready to play at the opening kickoff.
