Midwest Airlines (Amex: MEH) and Northwest Airlines (NYSE: NWA) have announced that they have entered into an agreement to create a codeshare partnership to provide customers of both airlines with an increased choice of travel destinations.

The companies said that the agreement formalises a Memorandum of Understanding the two carriers signed in May.
