Sep. 16--Winn wiggles while his rehabilitation veterinarian dries him with a towel and holds a heat mat on his back to loosen his muscles. The Welsh corgi has just finished a 20-minute walk on an underwater treadmill.

Now it's his "sister" Maggie's turn.

The foot-tall dog waddles on the glass-enclosed treadmill. The door closes and water rises from the floor. Her stubby legs swish back and forth as the treadmill starts.
