Sep. 16--Diversity and originality are two words to describe the 2007-08 theater season in Toledo and the region.
It has been a long time since troupes, both on the community and the professional levels, have offered so many shows that are new to area stages, or haven't been seen much.
But first, a party.
The Toledo Repertoire Theatre is celebrating its 75th birthday this year, and it's planning an all-American celebration.
"Well, it's mostly all-American," said Rep artistic director Gloria Moulopoulos. "We're still doing A Christmas Carol, but Charles Dickens visited America, so I think that counts."
