Carrier expands service between Myrtle Beach, Pittsburgh.

Sep. 14--FINDLAY TWP. -- What a difference a day makes.

On Wednesday, US Airways Chief Executive Officer Doug Parker said his airline might further reduce flights at Pittsburgh International Airport because local market demand wasn't strong enough to support them. But on Thursday, Pittsburgh's newest carrier, Myrtle Beach Direct Air and Tours, said strong demand here has prompted it to expand.

"We started out slow, but word got out about us and by May we were starting to stretch apart at the seams," said company President Ed Warneck.
