Sep. 15--CHESAPEAKE -- To show it has the know-how to put together a massive biodiesel plant in Chesapeake, representatives of Smiling Earth Energy LLC have provided a 29-page backgrounder on its key management team.
Company principal Clifford M. Cowles has "tried, analyzed and verified the research on just about every energy technology on the market or in existence," the document says. Bernie Mock, the company's other principal, is a "legendary" figure whose company is the "petroleum industry's leader" in something called fluid control, it adds.
