Sep. 17--Widowed in his 70s and retired only a few years, Frank J. Rester neverexpected to find love again.
But he took a chance on a social group for widows and widowers and met thewoman he later married.
"He was the sweetest, gentlest person on earth," wife Peggy Rester recalledSunday. "Those were the happiest years of our lives.
On Saturday, after suffering for years with chronic obstructive pulmonarydisease, Frank Rester of Winter Park died at 81. He was surrounded by hiswife of two years, his children and stepchildren.
