Women's soccer: Lady Falcons can't cash in.

Sep. 17--These are the kind of games you have to win.

The UTPB women's soccer team outshot and outplayed St. Mary's on Sunday, but lost 2-0.

The Lady Falcons (1-3-2) dominated the first half, having a shot from six yards out and three shots total in the penalty box, but failed to put any in the back of the net.

"The biggest problem with this team is we have a great starting 11," coach Dennis Peterson said, "but our bench is thin because of injuries, so we are running out of steam in the second half."

The Lady Falcons are without four players, but still managed five shots on goal -- two by Tiffany Richter and one each by Katelin ...
