One need only drive along fashionable Lake Street to verify the claim. On one side of the promenade are designer boutiques, smart restaurants, cafes and bookstores; on the other the shores of Lake Minnetonka with fleets of sailboats, 40-foot family cruisers and an antique paddleboat to ferry visitors past millionaire mansions.
