Last month we showed how to make the evaluation objective by quantifying some of the values in the image. We're now ready to begin the actual optimization process.
Straighten Up and Fly Right
Sometimes the geometry of our images needs help. For instance a tilted camera produces a tilted horizon. Shooting at an up or down angle causes perspective problems. Cropping, either to correct one of the preceding problems, or to convert an image to a different aspect ratio is often necessary. Photoshop[R] has several tools to help do the job.
