NEW ORLEANS -- Freddie Mac and the Freddie Mac Foundation have committed another $5 million "to help rehabilitate and rebuild housing as well as provide needed resident services for many low- to moderate-income families." It is part of an ongoing effort "to stabilize their lives," Freddie said.
"New Orleans has pockets of outstanding affordable housing projects evolving. To propel these forward, we plan to invest in a number of the nonprofits that are leading the charge," said Ralph F. Boyd Jr., Freddie Mac EVP and foundation chairman.
