NEW YORK -- Brunswick, Ga., and markets like it are poised for positive growth, even though many markets across the nation face stagnant price appreciation, if not price depreciation as well as declining sales and rising inventories, according to D. Kenneth Patton, dean, NYU Real Estate Institute.
Mr. Patton and a team of graduate students from the NYU Real Estate Institute have released a study that examines the factors influencing the buoyancy of these markets in the face of a housing downturn.
