Hungarian state railways MAV to spend HUF 431 bln on suburban railway development
BUDAPEST. SEPTEMBER 17. INTERFAX CENTRAL EUROPE - Hungarian state railways MAV is planning to spend a total of HUF 431 bln on modernizing its suburban railways and train stations, MAV announced in a statement Monday.
"The total sum needed for developing 11 Budapest suburban railway lines to meet EU standards is some HUF 431 bln that includes HUF 35.3 bln for priority projects, HUF 24.1 bln for basic infrastructure developments, HUF 65.4 bln for train station development, HUF 5.9 bln for suburban developments and HUF 90.4 bln for the modernization of trains," the statement ...
