In a television ad set to KC and the Sunshine Band's "Shake Your Booty," consumers are urged to "shop, shop, shop" at E.W. Scripps' comparison shopping Web site Shopzilla.com.
The ad showing computer users dancing to the lively song at their keyboards is part of Scripps' marketing efforts to fire up lagging financial results at the interactive division.
Revenue and profits at the division -- consisting of Shopzilla that Scripps bought for $525 million in 2005 and a similar service in the United Kingdom called uSwitch Inc. that Scripps paid $366 million for last year -- grew last year, but are off to a ...
