MINNEAPOLIS, May 1 /PRNewswire/ -- Northwest Airlines (Nasdaq-NNM: NWAC) extends its North American route system to three new Canadian cities and two new routes today -- a result of the recently signed open skies agreement between the United States and Canada.
Canadian passengers can take advantage of more convenient one-stop service to hundreds of destinations in the United States, the Caribbean, Mexico, Asia and Europe via Northwest's connecting hubs in Detroit and Minneapolis. U.S. passengers have easy one-stop access to more Canadian cities than any U.S. airline.
