More than two years after Christ Lutheran Church burned in downtown Stoughton, the congregation is preparing to move into a new church on Highway B about four miles north of the city.
Since the fire in August 2005, Christ Lutheran members have been worshipping at Skaalen retirement home in Stoughton.
"It's been wonderful to be able to worship there," said Scott Geister-Jones, who is co-pastor with his wife, Paula. "But we're ready to move in (to the new church) and it's pretty exciting."
