MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Driven by growing demand for new electronic products that semiconductors make possible, the worldwide semiconductor production equipment market will nearly double from $6.3 billion in 1993 to $12.4 billion by 1999, growing at a 12 percent compound annual rate, projects a new study just issued by Frost & Sullivan.
