Sep 18, 2007 (New Scientist - ABIX via COMTEX) -- A study by the US Pentagon's research arm has looked at how to stop troops suffering from chest infections. Elite athletes and troops, working at high levels of endurance, are prone to chest infections. The Pentagon's research arm, DARPA, has found that quercetin - a flavonoid found in fruits, berries and tea - could protect these people from chest infection.
