Sep. 17--NEW MARKET -- For Terri Rowe, there's a story behind every order she receives for her shortbread angel cookies.
Some buy her winged goods for thank-you gifts, others as wedding favors.
The bites also are popular for a get-well basket or bereavement gift. "I always like to hear the story of why they are buying them, and who they give them to," Rowe said. "When I am baking, a lot of the time I will just light a candle and focus my attention on them." Her angels have their own story.
