Sep. 18--The bow of a concrete boat hangs out over the canal. The rest of it is hunkered down in the backyard.

It doesn't appear to have ventured into the water in recent years.

Its concrete body may have oddity value -- a sidewalk with a mast -- but the aesthetics are lost on Bay County. Code Enforcement soon will haul the vessel away and have the bill sent to the property owner.
