Lukoil finds commercial reserves in Egypt (Part 2)
MOSCOW. Sept 18 (Interfax) - Lukoil (RTS: LKOH) has discovered commercial hydrocarbon reserves at the Meleiha Block in the Western Desert of Egypt as the result of drilling an appraisal well, the Russian oil major said in a statement.
"There was an inflow of water-free oil with an average discharge of 1,000 barrels a day after tests. An estimate is continuing of the results of drilling, the field's reserves are being clarified, drilling is continuing and an oil field is being equipped.
