AUSTIN, Texas _ The official Austin Visitors Guide touts the city's mot to: ``Live music capital of the world.''
The same legend graces bumper stickers on cars all over the city.
It's no empty slogan. Amidst the state capital, University of Texas and other cultural attributes, music is indeed Austin's No. 1 draw. It's a musical mecca _ home to more than 140 bars, clubs, theaters and other venues that host all manners of music _ as well as a public TV show, ``Austin City Limits,'' that gives the rest of the world a window to Austin's greatest natural resource.
