Sep. 19--Before Gov. Corzine races out of Camden after his latest surgical sojourn at Cooper University Hospital, he should cruise down Broadway to the Waterfront South neighborhood.
There, the governor can see and smell for himself what a sham Camden's "recovery" has been so far. Maybe then he'll understand why folks in the ravaged neighborhood are furious about having a methadone clinic added to the toxic tally.
Five years and $175 million later, this is progress?
For once, residents and businesses in the nearby South Jersey Port Corp. are asking the same critical questions.
