PHOENIX _ Barry Zito is close to automatic when he receives decent run support. Over his career, he was 90-4 when his team scored at least four runs during his assignments.
Make that 90-5.
Zito squandered a pair of leads, couldn't retire a batter in the fifth inning and failed in his bid to reach double-digit victories Wednesday night. Chris Snyder's two-run double knocked out Zito and gave the Arizona Diamondbacks the lead in an eventual 6-4 victory over the Giants.
