Sep. 20--Scott McKillop left Kiski Area High as the most productive defender in school history, a first-team Pennsylvania Class AAAA All-State player. Yet there were doubts about whether the kid could play middle linebacker at the University of Pittsburgh.
McKillop had 332 tackles in high school, including a school-record 161 solo. But would he be able to fill the shoes of All-American and Big East defensive player of the year H.B. Blades?
