BANDARLAMPUNG, Sept 21 Asia Pulse - Lampung-based sugar company PT Gunung Madu Plantations (GMP) is exporting some 100,000 tons of molasses annually to South Korea, Taiwan and the European Union, the company's spokesman, Haris Jawodo, said here on Thursday.
Jawodo said the company was milling some two million tons of raw sugarcane annually and in the process also yielding molasses as a byproduct in a volume equal to about four per cent of the volume of sugarcane processed.
