SANTA ANA, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 1, 1995--TROY, a division of Pierce Companies Inc. today announced that it has significantly extended and expanded its unique agreement with Hewlett-Packard Co., Palo Alto, Calif., in the desktop check printing market.
TROY serves as HP's sole U.S. source for magnetic ink character recognition (MICR) solutions. The new agreement provides MICR functionality for the complete family of HP LaserJet printers -- Models II, IID, IIID, 4Si, 4 and 4 Plus. TROY offers hardware, software, services and supplies for printing MICR-encoded, negotiable documents. TROY software ties into the leading desktop accounting packages.
