ATLANTA--Apr. 27--The metro Atlanta entertainment industry has developed impressively despite the lack of a coordinated strategy and is well- positioned to take center stage in a number of fields, according to a study to be released today by Research Atlanta Inc. New York, Los Angeles and Chicago are entrenched as the nation's leading entertainment cities, according to the report by the independent research group associated with Georgia State University.
But metro Atlanta is part of an active second tier of entertainment cities that also includes Detroit, Minneapolis and Dallas.
