BROWNSVILLE, Texas -- Rio Vista Energy Partners L.P. (NASDAQ: RVEP), an energy services master limited partnership ("Rio Vista"), announced today that Douglas G. Manner has been appointed Chairman of the Board of Managers of Rio Vista GP LLC ("Rio Vista GP"), the general partner of Rio Vista. Mr. Manner has served as a member of the Board of Managers of Rio Vista GP since August 2004.
