Global Marine Communications Ltd (GMC), Hughes Network Systems, LLC (HUGHES), and Orbit Technology Group Ltd, have announced the successful completion of interoperability testing and sea trials between the Hughes HN series of broadband satellite modems and the specially-adapted Orbit AL- 7103-MKII-GMC marine stabilized satellite antenna.

Initial services will be available in Europe and the Middle East. GMC will be collaborating with operators in other regions to provide global, seamless coverage worldwide using Hughes Ku-band technology.
