TRUE NORTH Pluck True North
The northwest of the United States is becoming a hot breeding ground for new contemporary bluegrass players and bands. There is a distinctive sound that I find very appealing. If they don't come from the South, why should they try to sound like they do? No need to if they sound as good as Oregon's True North.
The band is comprised of Dan Wetzel, mandolin, guitar, vocals; Dale Adkins, guitar, vocals; Suzanne Pearce, bass, vocals; Tim Darby, dobro and Kristen Grainger, lead vocals. Kristen is the band's main composer but the majority of Pluck is comprised of selections from some of the finest songwriters plying their craft.
